Acerola, a fruit from a South American native plant, is a component of Tru-C. With a vitamin C content that is around 100 times that of an orange that has been peeled, acerola possesses one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C ever recorded in nature. Along with vitamin C, acerola has naturally occurring carotenoids and flavonoids that enhance vascular and immunological health and give the fruit its effective free radical-neutralizing effects. This formulation incorporates a special fruit and vegetable blend and does not contain vitamin C from corn or citrus.
