The cardamom seed, also known as the "queen of spices," has been spreading its potent, smoky fragrance for ages. The well-known scent of cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is added by the essential oil to body care mixtures, fragrances, colognes, and air fresheners. Additionally, it can be used in breath diffusions or chest balms as a gentler substitute for other camphoraceous oils.
An agricultural commune in Guatemala is the source of Aura Cacia's organic cardamom essential oil. To create the perfect essential oil, the seeds and pods are first steam distilled and then desiccated.
