Cacia Aura A singular essential oil known as myrrh is obtained from the gum resin of a tree that can be found in Somalia. One of the plants with the oldest histories of use is myrrh. More than 6,000 years ago, it was exchanged. Along with frankincense, it was used in religious rituals by the ancient Babylonians.
