Aura Cacia Rosehip Oil is sourced from Chile despite being initially from Europe. The canine rose was brought to Chile in the 1800s and spread quickly throughout the southern Andes. It has been gathered there for a century and is now present throughout the area. The reaping season is brief but very active. The thorny bushes' hips are harvested using a specialized instrument and safety gear. The rosehip seed oil is produced by cold pressing the divided and ground rosehip seeds after the harvested hips have been dried.
Because the botanicals from which they are derived are grown in accordance with the USDA's Organic Standards, organic oils vary from conventional oils.
