A rich and nourishing oil, organic argan (Argania spinosa) oil has the power to support the general vitality of the skin, face, and hair. Emollient argan oil is frequently used as the moisturizing component in serums, moisturizers, and balms.
The oil is derived from kernels found inside the argan fruit's pits and is indigenous to the Atlas mountain region in southern Morocco. Argan plants have a lifespan of 150–200 years. Even in extremely dry climates, their lengthy, fruitful lives are made possible by their deeply penetrating root systems. Southern Moroccan women's unions are the source of Aura Cacia's organic argan oil. The oil is cold-pressed and has an organic certification.
Because the botanicals from which they are derived are grown in accordance with the USDA's Organic Standards, organic oils vary from conventional oils. All of our organic oils as well as our manufacturing site have received organic certification from the reputable third-party certifier, Quality Assurance International (QAI).
