It works well in external patio sprays where it blends well with citronella, lemon eucalyptus, geranium, and other essential oils. It can be used as a base note in a variety of recipes.

After overharvesting Atlas cedarwood trees for more than a century, Morocco has made major replanting efforts over the last two decades. The Atlas mountains are now covered with young cedar forests. The oil is extracted from the scraps and sawdust after the timber has been processed in a sawmill.
